Clifton Jones

Board Member

Being wrongfully convicted did not stop Clifton Jones from accomplishing many goals and participating in many projects. Jones spent more than a decade wrongfully incarcerated from December 14, 2005 to April 12, 2021. Within his time in prison, Jones shares that he took on roles within the clothing, food, and being a caretaker for the population of Pleasant Valley.

As a clothing personal, Jones dedicated his time to serving his community by collecting and distributing clothes for the Correctional Training Facility. After his release to rightful freedom in 2021, Jones has continued to make a presence in the community by speaking to the youth. Since his release Jones has become a motivational speaker for high school students. He has also participated in the “Take Care of Maya” documentary streaming exclusively on Netflix.

Jones’ hobbies include outdoor activities and watching sports. One of his all time favorite teams is the San Francisco 49ers!
