Kaylee is a rising 3L at California Western School Of Law and has a strong passion for criminal defense. Kaylee returns to California Innocence Advocates as a summer law clerk after having spent a year working with Cal-IA as a clinical law student. Kaylee says her time at Cal-IA, “has been incredibly eye-opening—not just in deepening my understanding of the law, but in exposing the many ways the justice system has failed individuals, especially in common and marginalized communities. It’s fueled my drive to advocate for those whose voices have been overlooked and to be part of a movement working to correct those injustices.
